Fall 2017 collections were revealed a few
months back and there were some really interesting trends. Typically, fall
fashion is more edgy, because most designers take chance with new ideas. In
this post, we will talk about the best fall 2017 shoe trends. Also, we will
focus on more practical trends and ideas that you can actually wear. Let’s get started.
More buckles : Buckled shoes are always fun, but
this time, designers like Marc Jacobs and Altuzarra worked with multiple
buckles that made an instant impact. If you are fond of feminine shoes, this is
something that you can safely try with dresses and coats. Go for peep toes or
pointy heels as you like – This trend should also work for formal clothing and
boardroom outfits in the right colours. Shades like nude and off-white are your
best picks.
Love for laces: Lace-up shoes were trending
everywhere sometime back, and this year, it’s finally back on the runways in
the collection of Tommy Hilfiger, Rag & Bone and Valentino to name a few.
These are again feminine shoes that would look lovely on almost anyone. Laced
up designs look best in heels, especially the long heels and stilettos! You can
team one with your date dress or can keep one for the late-night parties – the
choice is obviously yours!
Block heels: Well, not everyone can walk in high
heels, and no wonders, designers have taken note of that. Chunky heels are back
on runways in collections of Erdem, Prada, and 3.1 Philip Lim. This is a trend
that looks stunning on almost anyone, and you don’t have to forego your comfort
for style. This is also a good trend for ladies who love to wear heels but are
not fond of wedges. Block heels can come in a variety of styles, and you can
find some really good options to match with dresses and power suits.
More velvet: If you followed the fall 2017
clothing trends, you must have read many things about the velvet trend. It
seems to have extended to shoes, as well, with designers and labels like Albert
Ferretti, Valentino and Dries Van Notencoming up with pairs that have a touch
of velvet. These are not over the top velvet shoes and are pretty minimal for
regular wear. You can buy many designs online, as well, and this trend doesn’t
have to be expensive either.
Inspired by the
reptile: Animal and
reptile prints continue to rule the runway, and there are some great ideas for
everyone. Designers like ProenzaSchouler, Burberry, Rodarte, and Erdem created
some of these shoes, which were easy to wear, even when you are off to work.
You can of course find a lot of choices in faux materials, so make sure that
you don’t support leather.
